According to press AC unwilling to pay more than £3.2m for Adel, after we lowered the asking price from £6m to £5m.
I suspect we will either capitulate or there will be a deal made at £4m. Either way we get shafted, especially as about £1.7m of that will go to Spurs anyway.
AC are saying that they want Adel and that they want him to stay in Italy at the moment to finalise the deal, but won't pay anything like the asking price.

If we don't get the money we want then he doesn't go. He signed a contract so he has to honour it and if that means staying with us then he should just knuckle down. Sell him to someone else. It's not that easy. It all depends on other clubs interest, and Adel has reputation of someone that is difficult to manage. I doubt there would be many suitors, hence AC taking the hardline approach.
Adel doesn't want to play for us, and it is not economically prudent to retain Adel's services, whilst he earns millions in wages, and probably doesn't play.
