It's been claimed that Peterborough manager Darren Ferguson is set to recall David Ball from his loan spell at Dale.
Ball has been a massive success at Spotland since arriving at the club on loan on transfer deadline day in the last day of August. With four goals to his name, he has helped Dale become a real threat from an attacking point of view, but his form has not gone unnoticed at London Road.
Ferguson has told the Peterborough Evening Telegraph that this weekend's game with Bournemouth will be Ball's last game in Dale colours. He said: "Bally’ will be back next week. He is a finisher who has showed he can score goals."
The loan window will remain open for Dale to bring in another striker before the transfer window reopens on 1st January.
