Second the OP's comments, I enjoy Connors no waffle, straight to the point approach to his content, keeps it a nice length - very digestible bite size nuggets :-)
As for Joe Walsh, comes across a lovely guy - just the right sort. Look forward to seeing his career blossom at the R's.
So, really stupid idea… how about we start a petition, loads of other fans aren’t going to be happy about this. It also impacts local business, could we get to the magic 100k and get some time in parliament to try and get some heat on Sky and the EFL?
Stupid or should we give it a blast?
Just had a quick google, seems there’s already one or two petitions to scrap the 3pm blackout.
I’ll see if there’s anything worth posting a link to ….
Seems there’s currently no petitions committee and they’ve previously rejected one to do with the 3pm embargo - not looking promising .
Sorry to read about your furry buddy BC. Little consolation I'm know, but 15 is a good age for a dog of that size, It absolutely heartbreaking though, they occupy such a large part of your own life and are woven into all of your memories during your time together, cliche I know but they really are part of the family.
I remember packing up the car when my eldest daughter was off to university in 2013, our old boy Ted who was then 6 decided he didn't want her to go, anyway we had said our goodbyes only to find when getting into the car that Ted had other ideas and had climbed into the car via the drivers seat and plonked his 32kg frame in the front passenger seat in protest - a memory that I'll never forget along with all the other funny ones over the years. We lost him in 2020 at 13.5 yrs - still hurts even today.
It'll get easier, and those memories will become more precious, bloody dogs eh? Must be mad to have them.
Was thinking exactly this a few days ago. I’m also west London.
All the pesticides and insecticides don’t help. Not so many swifts over the skies of west London either this year. Last summer I counted 15 one evening, most I’ve counted this year is 5 so far.
Great bit of business done there. If he wasn't going to sign, then no option other than to cash-in.
He seems like a nice lad, but he's not a natural striker. Okay, he's quick, strong, and (kind of) exciting. He's also, unpredictable, has a poor touch, no composure in front of goal, poor positioning, can't head and is way too emotional.
Some of those shortcomings may be improved with coaching but he's not a kid anymore, look at the likes of Gallen, Austin, Thorpe, Les, Thompson, Crouch and Wells to name a few - it came naturally to them they didn't need to think about it - natural born killers in front of goal. Sincs isn't of that ilk IMO.
Hope he proves me wrong, but I don't see him getting more than 5 goals this season. Might even have bet on his tally.
