Great news, stability is key |

The attendance (1,700) is a very clear message to the club as to what people make of the 'entertainment' on offer. The first half was pathetic. Second half we showed a bit more effort but with no end product. Hopefully we will use the summer to recruit so we can go back to a midfield 3 as that system is when we've had our best moments this season. Playing this current wide formation and 2 up front doesn't work when we take forever to get the ball out wide and never get crosses in. Underachievement is a good summary of the season. There's so much frustration because we can see the potential this group of players has. It just feels like they are being held back. |

Wouldn't it be the case that once someone has 90% control they would be able to pass this motion without any problem anyway if so inclined? Personally I see the value in the audits. However I think that was a pointless motion. We either move on with new owners in which case the cost of an audit is hopefully not an issue or alternatively we can't play on Saturday and go bust, in which case what is there to audit going forward? |

Both of those comments (Saturdays game and facing the media) were in poor taste. We all understand the situation. I don't think that was necessary. I really hope this is the start of a positive phase for the club. Time will tell. [Post edited 7 Mar 21:43]

Really good win. Quality from Sinclair to break the deadlock and then a well worked second. It seems we have learnt how to see a game out and the players are defending really well. Throwing themselves in front of everything. We haven't lost at home in the league since the Oldham game on 21st October. Remarkable given our home form in recent years. It's so refreshing leaving Spotland with some results and points. Keep it up Dale |

The clause was mentioned at the EGM. Really pleased with the win today, hopefully it will give the squad confidence and we can press on from here |

The question about Delves' performance review was pathetic and got the answer it deserved |

I think all would agree that his time at Dale has been underwhelming given the early promise he showed. A move would be good for all parties. He lacks the mobility, effort, fitness and ability to take the ball on the turn to be effective in the middle of the park. Can't see anything other than it being a free transfer and wage off our books. |

Agreed. A great idea but promoted very late. |

I would agree that freezing the prices does represent good value (depending on what gets served up on the pitch!) so the club should be congratulated for that. I'm also pleased they've brought back some of the vouchers as a perk to getting a season card. In terms of engaging new fans, the current strategy seems to be having very cheap season cards and hoping that will encourage new fans to buy one. The problem with that is that's it highly unlikely someone will go from not coming at all to committing to a whole season, regardless of us being comparatively cheaper. This is where the pay on the day pricing comes in. Committing to a season card happens when you are in the habit of coming to games. The current pricing structure is prohibitive of getting people in the habit of coming or trying it out. If we want to attract new fans these prices need to be lowered. This can be achieved whilst still ensuring value for those buying a season card. |

We don't, and likely won't, have the quality of players required to play the way Jim wants to effectively. I won't be renewing if he gets the job and will pick and choose games next season. |

That's much more like it Dale. Fantastic performance 1st half and resolute when we had to dig in 2nd half. Thought all the players played well and put a proper shift in. Brierley's passing ability and range makes such a difference. We may ultimately come up short but performances and effort like today show that we have the ability to fight for our survival. |

Whilst really wanting Jim to succeed, I am starting to get worried about his capability to do so. I don't think he knows what the best system to play is. It's also a bad sign when as a fan looking at the lineup before the game, you never know who is going to be in it and where some will be playing. The in-game changes that he makes that end up being effective are few and far between. More often than not, after making his late subs we look even more disorganised. The goalkeeper situation has been well covered by others. I'd go back to 433, pick a settled side over a number of games that can get used to playing together (barring injuries) and try and establish some sort of style of play. |

Couldn't agree more. We're (supposedly) a professional club with a contracted player and having our pants pulled down with this. If they want him, scout him and then make a bid. We can't afford to have one of our better players missing at a crucial time. It's also frustrating that it's taken this coming out via a journalist on twitter for it to be mentioned to fans via Bentley's interview. |

Our home form continues to be absolutely appalling and after about 4 years of this it's a wonder there are still 2000 home fans turning up. Giving 3 relegation rivals 3 points each at home in a month is so detrimental to our hopes. If we aren't going to win the game, don't lose. We just don't have that mentality in this squad. |

1600 home fans, losing more every week due this spirit sapping football. There's not even any chumps league on this week to use as an excuse for the poor attendance. If the club intend on selling season tickets in the summer, actually producing some shots on goal might give half a chance of selling some. |

Has any team had as poor home form as us over the past 3 seasons? It's appalling. So very fortunate tonight, completely out-fought which resulted in all of our players taking the easy pass (backwards or aimless hoof forward) and showed very little bravery. The late goal shouldn't mask that. Taylor my motm although there wasn't much competition, I thought he defended well though. |
