I think I do want it to go downhill. This is no longer a football club, the football club I have supported since I was able to make my own childhood mind up.
The entity masquerading as Southampton Football club is a cheap ripoff entertainment business leeching off football and the supporters of what used to be a well run club (association of people with a common interest.)
It simply doesn't exist any more, having been stolen, raped and slaughtered by Sports Republic. Nobody gets crowned champion in a republic and to pride one's self on embracing failure is simply an expression of managementspeak BS. Time it went into administration and then those who care can begin again.
I don't have much time for the skates but it has to be said that their fans cared enough to buy the wreckage and turn it back into a club. Roll on the day when Dragan realises that he is pouring good money after bad and pulls the plug. Not a dig at him, He has ploughed money in and we should be thanking him for it but it has all been pissed up the wall by the ineptitude of his colleagues. Time to start again. |

We survived four years of Trump and will survive four more but Musk is his obvious successor and much more dangerous. That is what I really fear because Americans will be daft enough to vote for him. |

Agreed but when you keep getting humiliated, week in, week out, the fight goes out of you. That's understandable for a fan but players on four times my annual pension per week need a good duffing up behind the bike sheds for ripping the supporters off so blatantly. |

I had a better day drinking in KarelCity all afternoon. Once I got home to find a five nil defeat, I simply gave up hope. SR will see this club into admin, sooner rather than later. I hope the club folds as this is beyond embarrassment. |

I fear that Musk, Farage and his ilk are the people that members of my family died protecting us from. With Elon's money communications and political clout, I really don't want to encourage him. |

Isn't it encouraging to see a well considered team pick? I can see the how and why of this one and I really hope it works because this lineup looks as though it has all the strength in depth we can muster and it ought to be enough to clip the Eagles' wings.
