I did, thanks, mate. It wasn't the game we hoped for, but I'd prepared my boy with the not-since-1967 stat, and we were there for the win last season.
Also, our support was great. No complaints. No regrets. |

Well, erm, in no particular order.
1. Chair looked energetic when he came on.
2. If we'd scored in that little spell at the start of the second half, well..it would have been better.
3. Paul Smyth was industrious.
4. I felt like we tried after halftime.
Nice to see a match in the company of enthusiastic RRs fans! A treat for me even with the result. Hope everyone gets home safely - there was a lot of fog when we left Swansea. |

Second half was a different game. The first half was jaw droppingly one-sided.
I'm not sure there was either a tackle or a completed pass until after halftime.
Does that lad Madsen have a second gear? |

And to my local game as well! Christmas preparations and dashing about. If anyone suddenly can't travel then me and my boy would definitely take a couple of tickets going spare.. not even sure how or if that could work.

Just having a glance at the table, I don't see how we can possibly win today - 3 points could propel us into a ridiculously high position. Not allowed for Christmas, surely.
A draw and a continuation of our unbeaten run would seem like a reasonably modest addition to the Christmas prezzie list. |

It seems from a footballing spectacle perspective I made the right decision not to come to England to see that today...but it's always lovely to come away from a game with a scraped draw out of nowhere.

Yep! Phone and internet out here in Carmarthenshire. Lots of trees down. Followed the match leaning into the window to catch scraps of 4G!

The thing is that it doesn't matter if we're rubbish. If we finish 1 GD above the relegation zone this season that's job done. And a goalkeeper who stops shots and, dare I say it, a striker who scores goals, will win enough games where the stats say we were worse for us to do that.. it's not glorious but it is survival.
It's like running away from a bear isn't it? You don't need to be faster than the bear only than the other people you're with |
