Pretty much 3 sides of the ground singing ' Shoot Tommy Langley, were going to shoot Tommy Langley ' ........I was in away end.......real football days out back then
Just a brief follow up. Firstly I would like to thank all of you for the kind words, I have actually just taken time to read through them all, really beautiful.
I took James ashes home to London and attended the Sheffield Wednesday game. A very emotional evening, Rangers placed a piece in the program about James passing. People were so kind, I wont go into the whole story but 2 stewards in F Block SAR Stand really deserve a pat on the back, for helping me obtain more programs, as I didn’t realize James would be in it. Very kind and helpful.
I am back in Pattaya now, and taking it all one day at a time.
You have all been great and I hope to be back at Rangers in August for the 1st game of the season.
Thank all for the kind words about my son James passing. It's still a struggle for me but I am.bringing his ashes home this Friday. James used to like the Adelaide so that's where will before the Sheffield game. Be nice to.say hello.to.any of you. Thanks again. We are a great club. God.bless.you all
Thank you all so much for your kind words. We are a 3 generation Rangers family. My son was cremated in his Rangers top and I laid the away top on his beautiful body. My life is over pretty much. I love Rangers. I don't care if we are playing in Vauxhall Conference. We are a great family club. Love you all. And say a prayer for James xxxxx
Plenty of Chelsea there that day..........Nasty in Hammersmith afterwards.......Great run in to end of the season that year at home , think it was Leicester, Fulham, Wolves and Leeds......
The Specials at Brunel University Uxbridge late 1979............same tour as below.....seen a lot of bands since, still one of the best gigs been too........
Was with our lot from Hayes and Northolt lot..........We was in The Globe at Baker Street at lunchtime and someone had the bright idea to go on it in Luton.......sure the pub was called Cat and Fiddle, was a real shithole.......quite a few other Rangers in there when we left and it all kicked off .....
We got in some dump of a pub in Luton early afternoon, on it all afternoon, got ambushed outside by a load of Luton with ammonia in fairy liquid bottles, socks with pool balls and blades. My mate got cut, and another mate we took back to Moorefield’s after the game as his eyes were bad.
I think in 83(?) at Luton got bit by a police dog jumping the traffic barriers, ripped a brand new pair of Fiorucci jeans, and ended up in Hillingdon hospital having few stitches.
I lived / worked in LA for 7 years in the 90s, used to watch Rangers in the Cock n Bull on Lincoln Blvd, or Besties , Georges old bar, near my apartment in Hermosa Beach......very happy days , great place to live.........
