Not as attacking as Davies, but looked better defensively. Had a great match.
But wonder if given Laudrup a headache who to start next weekend. Think i'd keep with Taylor.

good performance today - stilll behind Ben for me but we are extremely lucky to have the 2 of them who are (seemingly) happy at the moment

Same as Tiendalli and to a certain extent, Bony. Getting more game time and getting up to speed. Davies is a level above though.

"Michu, Britton and Williams could have won 3-0 on their own. They wouldn't have required a keeper."

I think he is constantly out of position and prone to lunging in.

Bit of a horror show at the moment in my view.

I love Ben, and I haven't given him any stick on here mainly because I know I will be abused left right and centre, but for the last few weeks I have felt he has lost confidence in position. I wouldn't necessarily drop him for next week, but I think Taylor is breathing down his neck.

Wouldn't have a problem with him starting next week, especially as it's the same opponent. Looked good 2nd half v Chelses as well. 2 tough matches he's been involved in recently and impressed.

Even the bad times were good.

To be fair he did struggle against Man City but you have to remember that he was playing against Jesús

Taylor was good today - made a tackle and didn't abuse his colleagues.

Should play right back in rangel's absence instead of Tiendalli

Shouldn't forget how good Taylor was before the horrible injury. He's good now and will get better and better. A massive bonus having him back.

Taylor played very well today

Davies is a better overall player as he gets forward more but his form hasn't been the best of late

I would probably give Taylor the nod next weekend based on todays performance

Angel should start instead of Tiendalli though

I didn't mean that game, he was playing against a world class winger, Navas will tear apart left backs most weeks. I meant in possession, seems to have lost a lot of confidence when on the ball. He's a young lad and class is permanent, I have no doubts at all in Ben, just think he is out of form at the mo.

With us having a winger shortage, could it be a possibility to play Davies in front of Taylor. As a wideman?

Surely not instead of Routledge who scored and set up our second.
