Been reading with interest the thread about the poster of the year nominations and whilst I will defer the operation of that particular vote to Darran to organise I think it only fair to announce the first awarding of the Planet Swans lifetime achievement award
The recipient is here for large periods of the day and even purchased himself an ipad such is his dedication to the cause of keeping the site and the posters in check.
So it will therefore be no surprise that the first recipient of the award is Darran Prosser (pictured below receiving his award earlier today)
I have also managed to agree with the club that the Planet Swans lifetime achievement award will have a board in the Riverside Lounge next to the Supporters Trust Lifetime Achievement award winners and the player of the year winners. Darran will be invited to the Liberty next week to have the official photographs of the ceremony taken with Swans Chairman Huw Jenkins and manager Michael Laudrup together with Darran's favourite player Pablo Hernandez
I am sure all posters of Planet Swans will join me in congratulating him on the award
