Got to agree with you on that... out of curiousity, does a 35 year sentence actually mean 35 years? Or will he be out in around half that? Assuming he gets out without any "accidents" coming his way?

Depends on the Judge.

It should be a minimum of 35 then have a look at PAROLE. I wont be around then but I truly hope this chap has an awful life from now unto his grave.

Only thing I d wish for was to be the arresting officer .

No remorse at all and really should be in solitary permanently.

A hard case to deal with though

It'll end up a lot longer than 35 years from what i've just read. The investigation is huge and ongoing all over the world.Hopefully he'll die in prison. And for the 2 women, well words fail me.I get the feeling today's sentencing is just the tip of the iceberg.

Why solitary Perch? Personally I'd have him in the main block with every violent inmate possible. Solitary is too easy.

Why solitary? mainly because Man is a social animal.
BARRISTERS don't have to take any case they don't want as they are s elf employed.

To be a good one and this has been said to me by a senior silk you have to abandon any moral stance and do you very best for your client. This,in essence, would mean of the Police had fecked up any part of the PACE codes of Practice,ie refreshments the case might have been thrown out. Barristers only interest is their bank balance.
I class them in the light as Bankers.
Now Im cross and going out

But what would happen if as you want no one would defend him could you then have a trial

Reading about this case fcking sickened me, there isn't a strong enough sentence to punish this vile piece of filth. All anyone can hope to achieve here is to ensure he never gets out so that he can never offend again and this sentence, which will probably be half and minus a bit more for time served, he'll be out in no time.

Let's hope he comes to extreme harm in prison, enough so that when he gets out he can't offend again.

It goes without saying I feel for his victims but, assuming they're being truthful which I personally think they are, I also feel for his band members. Their lives and careers up to this point have been intrinsically associated with something that when LostProphets are mentioned in future, it will immediately be associated with his crimes.

On the solitary issue: yes, but putting him amongst all the filth in a high security prison will put the fer of God up him, and if course they will get him. In solitary, feet up and whistle his way through the sentence. Nope, no obituary for him. Let him loose.

I imagine he will face other trials whilst banged up so I'd expect him to be locked up forever. Three or four police forces are going to get kicked up the arse over this.

I agree - feel sorry for all those who knew him and who's lives have been ruined by association. In my opinion his eventual release should be conditional on him being castrated.

I would have thought a man of your political persuasion would have preferred more of a period of rehabilitation, possibly all expenses paid trip somewhere warm to 'wok out his problems'.

Well you're a bit of an idiot then, aren't you? And also a bit sick for trying to make some sappy political point out of a crime as sickening as this. Dear God.

Only joking hence the smilies!! 'Dear God'.

The crime is indeed sickening but I'm not referring to that rather your more liberal views to punishment! Lighten up man.
