The forum.. and the lack of scaling 21:11 - Sep 21 with 7186 viewsEVH

Hi guys,

Not sure where to post this, but thought I'd give some feedback.

Firstly, that the scaling of the homepage and forums is all to cock. When browsing at home the site looks like something out of the early 90s

Secondly, the function behind quoting and posting is backwards. Not sure of the reasons behind the move to fansnetwork, but I'm sure there are legitmate reasons. Point being, even the older versions vbulletin are better than the current implementation.

If you need decent images for the site, I've got a few.. mostly old now, but nothing stopping me taking the camera to the liberty again

Why would we want a picture of a Hull player ?

Doesnt look like that on my screen?

Also you can change your settings via

http://www.fansnetwork.co.uk/football/swanseacity/settings/forum

Where you can change the forum to take up the full width of the screen if you so desire or just extend it wider than it already is.

I despair. I'm saying I can get you high quality images for the site, if the mods would like more. That was an example (as I said, albeit old).

Here's more..

Press "ctrl + 0". Looks like you've zoomed out a load on this site by mistake.

Did you see that ludicrous display last night?

Nope. That is standard view.

30" monitor, but I'd expect the background and forum to be dynamic. Tried it on "extended" and "full width" and they're better but still weird.

As a technophobe what do you mean by dynamic?

I'm not a web designer, but the background image appears static so when your screen is larger than the image it appears weird.

Changing the table sizes in "settings" just adjust the layout of the message board, but not the background. Admittedly it's probably only going to affect a small number of users but other sites I frequent don't have this issue.

I suppose this was more of a moan than a helpful suggestion though because I don't know how to fix it myself. The offer is there if you need pictures though (season ticket holder with mahoosive camera).

Don't know what to say

Problem is the same on Google Chrome and Internet Explorer 10.

I think either the 'injured player being attended to by a physio' or a 'fanboy photo of Thierry Henry' should be the background image for the site.

Even the bad times were good.

Neil Taylor's broken ankle against Sunderland?

Theirry Henry is a legend... and it's a good shot. How can you call it "fanboy" when I support the Swans and I do photography for a living? It was more about the type of pictures I can provide than the picture themselves.

Seems to be going over heads

DLR?

It's a 70-200mm canon F2.8L lens on a 5D Mk III, if it makes a difference.
