Nedum Onuoha 23:29 - Aug 10 with 4579 viewsowza

I was at the game today and I was really impressed with Nedum Onuoha. He looked calm on the ball, solid, got stuck in and I really think he could be a force for us this season. He seems to be getting better every game. I think CB is defiantly his position.

I think he should be our first choice CB this year.

I think he's been impressive for a while, and will only get better with a consistent run in the team.

Gave him dogs last season and a bit before, always caveated with I hoped he proved me wrong

So far this season duly proved wrong

Keep it up young man

I would like to see him as captain after Clint has done his stint. Clearly has the respect of the rest of the team.

Onouha could be a really big player for us this season.

Dunne will be captain.

He is a natural born leader who has a commanding presence.

Captaining from the bench? Novel idea.

I really hope Dunne is a back up player because I don't like him myself. I think he has had a poor pre season despite Redknapp declaring he had a good one. He is a right donkey. Has never been good since his Man City days.

Sorry? Poor season? The season is two games old in which he has not started a league game and only started in a cup game,in which we won 2-0. Nothing like giving the guy a chance huh?

Sorry I meant to say Pre-season. Apologies.

Dunne quite understandably needs games to get match fit, it's idiotic to write him off this soon.

I like Onuoha a lot - he certainly has all the tools to dominate at this level - but I wonder about his determination sometimes. He's a much softer touch than say Dan Shittu ever was.

I wonder what the delay in signing Baird's all about btw.

On the evidence of Exeter Dunne is many weeks away from being capable of playing at Championship level. Looked like a pub landlord.

Having spent over a year out with a groin problem, that's likely to be as good as it gets from Dunne.

I don't think he is the world's greatest technical footballer but he learns fast and he has the right attitude, so he's fine by me.

Never knowingly right.
