unless you are from wales or asked a welsh person, you cannot explain how you pronounce the 'll' (which is 1 letter in the welsh alphabet), a lot of the English pronounce it as a CL but it sounds ridiculous and craap.
the name is a relatively new, and as previously stated a publicity stunt to increase tourism. means something about the church yard of a saint called mart near the white pond, something, something red cave. my welsh doesn't stretch far enough |  |
