ssn breaking news on 17:52 - Jul 24 with 2412 views | eghamranger | Why would he go to Norwich or Hull? Both could well go down, hull will DEFO, Norwich will be relegation contenders and he won't get a start every week.He could be a hero at rangers and will get lots of goes and be at the top half of the table.

ssn breaking news on 18:15 - Jul 24 with 2299 views | jamois | As much as I absolutely detest the club, more so than any other in fact, Naaarwich could spring a surprise this season. Was surprised they managed to sign that van Wolfswinkie bloke or whatever is name is. But it's the fact they did sign him which could mean they're not that fussed about pushing hard for Hooper??

ssn breaking news on 16:12 - Jul 24 by gueRRilla | Comment from BBC sport site: "QPRs spending is outrageous & I hope financial fairplay rules will stop this sinking club from taking the game down with it. It's clubs like QPR, Swansea, Southampton & Norwich who are ruining the game with recent reckless spending on average players. At least big clubs like Liverpool & Man Utd generate a lot of income for our country due to the tourist fans attending their games." http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/23440616 |
And when "big spending" QPR played United last season, United had £60m worth of players on the bench, which was at least double what we spent on our team.
| "Travel is fatal to prejudice, bigotry and narrow-mindedness, and many of our people need it sorely on these accounts. Broad, wholesome, charitable views of men and things cannot be acquired by vegetating in one little corner of the Earth all one's lifetime." (Mark Twain)

ssn breaking news on 19:49 - Jul 24 with 1958 views | TheBlob | In a surprise move today Gary Hooper's limousine wafted it's way to Upton Park leaving the waiting officials at Loftus Road red faced and deflated. "It was fine offer that QPR made"said Mr.Hooper," but I'm an Essex lad and Hammers offered me better prospects,a new stadium,Premier League football and jellied eels.It was the jellied eels that swung it,I love jellied eels....oh yes...(sings)jellied eels, jellied eels, wobbling about like wonky wheels." We saw him no more that day.

ssn breaking news on 20:27 - Jul 24 with 1796 views | NorthLondonR | A Celtic supporting mate text me last week proclaiming that Hooper ha agreed to sign for us and they were just awaiting the replay with Cliftonville because of a shortage of firepower before sanctioning the move. He had apparently agreed terms two weeks ago....... Didn't believe it but could be true. By the way on the Ian Abrahams thing, just how someone so illiterate and incompetent has managed to cut a career in media is beyond me. He's just pathetic.
ssn breaking news on 20:35 - Jul 24 with 1736 views | UPPERLOFTNZ | http://sport.stv.tv/football/clubs/celtic/233979-harry-redknapp-delighted-to-agr Queens Park Rangers manager Harry Redknapp has told STV that a deal to sign Celtic's Gary Hooper is almost done and that he hopes he is signing the Championship's next top scorer. Celtic accepted a bid of just under £5m from QPR for Hooper on Wednesday afternoon and the player is close to completing a move to Loftus Road. Redknapp said that he had been tracking Hooper's progress for the player's whole career and had seen him prove his credentials as a striker during his time under Celtic boss Neil Lennon. "It’s all been agreed," Redknapp told STV. "I’ve not been dealing with it but the chief executive and the chairman have been dealing with Celtic. "Hopefully we’re close to finally getting there but until it’s done you’re never sure. " He’s a player we’ve been chasing for a while and now we’ve agreed a deal with Celtic. "We’ve followed him from his days at Gray’s Athletic to Southend to Scunthorpe. Then he’s gone and scored goals at the highest level with Celtic. "So he’s proved that he’s a goalscorer and hopefully he can score some goals in the Championship now." QPR were relegated from the English Premier League last season but Redknapp said that he was optimistic that Hooper's goals could win the Rs promotion from the Championship at the first time of asking. If that was achieved, the veteran manager said he wouldn't rule out Hooper achieving his international ambitions with England ahead of next year's World Cup. "I would love to see him being leading goalscorer in the Championship and hopefully that would mean us being promoted," he added. "If he came here and was a prolific scorer then you never know [about an England call]. We’re not overloaded with great strikers in England, that’s for sure, and everyone’s looking for a good goalscorer."

I don't believe any of this itk stuff - I just look at the skybet odds and was confident a few hours ago - odds had moved from 2/1 to 1/3 on, but now back to 11/8 - what is happening? Does someone out there know something and have they placed a big bet on Norwich?
