Cheat who should be drummed out of the club as soon as possible?

Or someone who legitimately went down to emphasise an awful near assault?

Discuss.

People are over reacting to this whole situation IMO. Why is it suddenly Grants fault that he was the victim of a ridiculous and stupid decision by Frampton? He may have said something to Frampton to antagonize him, but you can not react like that, he had every right to go down. Since Hill has come back we haven't had any playacting and cheating behaviour, so this kind of incident stands out more, but he doesn't deserve to be criticised.

Bobby Grant is one of our most talented footballers. He is also one of our most foolish.

On Tuesday night, I was amazed to see Bobby run 20 to 30 yards (at a guess) in order to shove Frampton in the back, after the referee seemingly calmed the situation. Whether or not Frampton made contact I cannot decide, however, the cause of the incident was Grant himself.

Bobby is good enought to play League One, probably even Championship football, but this attitude is probably the only reason which has prevented him.

Whether or not that is to our gain, im sure only time will tell.

Its football,it happens..........get over it.Ffs there was a time when people could have a good gab over a beer after a match about the wrong and right decisions etc etc,if it was or was'nt over the line, there was some good hard tackling etc etc but as per,too many softies and taking away peoples pleasure.People are expected to sit in stands, behave themselves and clap like seals. No wonder football is going to the dogs.

Me? Get over it?

Lol! (And I wouldn't normally use that expression except when something is so stupid as to warrant a stupid expression)

OK, that's done

I'm having a port and lemon now with my mates in the knitting circle

We still can't work out what you'd like us to "get over" but we know when we hear that phrase we've won the argument

Right ladies.....Things happen and has always happened in football that upsets some folk and pleases others, its swings and roundabouts and hopefully it will continue, otherwise us saddo's would have nothing to spout verbal diarrhea about and such discussion boards would not exist.
That said,i feel now would be a good time to agree to disagree and lay it to bed,so please allow me to extend my mitten of friendship.

That's actually pretty good analysis.

There was zero need for Grant to be involved (or anyone else for that matter, including their player). Donnelly deserved a yellow and that should have been the end of it.

Time to be a little honest, I was really pushing for a few opinions. Got some, on both sides. Was great to see a smiling Grant on Friday after he'd kicked the ball at Donnelly when he was lying down. As a player he is ace. Probably had his worst game for us on Tuesday but was still a real threat. I do want opposition fansto hate him because he is quality rather than some of the nonsense such as holding his face. I don't care if that is the way football is now, I'd much rather see us try to avoid it.

Hope I get the chance to support him tomorrow,.

He was in a no win situation, he got barged and went down and we question him.

If he'd had got up and retaliated, we'd have wanted him sacked.

There was 'a lot' of contact and 99.9% of footballers would have done the same.

No case to answer IMO.

though i know what bobby grant is and a lot dis pleases me , though is ability doesnt
he was definately assaulted framtons head hit him squarely on his nose correct descision should shoot the bastard
