Apologies if there is a transfer thread I'm opening a thread for the January transfer window which has now opened.
Who should be a potential signing for us and who should move on either via loan or permanently? I've heard Kyrell Lisbie & Gus Scott Morriss mentioned as potential targets but could they potentially make the jump from NL to L2? Some players do but others don't.
Plus actual transfers that we bring in & out can also be mentioned here. |  |

Shewsbury are doing very badly so I doubt the ambitious and wealthy fairly new owners of Wycombe will want him, I can see them going for a fairly big name by league one standards. |  | | |

Luton are a busted flush and Bloomfield would be foolish to leave Wyscum.
Let him finish the job at the Chairboys and go somewhere at the end of the season.
But in the meantime I'm only interested in keeping Tovide and signing some new players for Colchester. |  |

I'm afraid he never impressed me and whilst his injuries have been a real impediment to his progress he never showed any suggestions that he was the answer to our goal scoring woes.
Interesting that Pompey reported only yesterday that we were overseeing his rehab.

Bloomfield confirmed as new Luton manager, sounds like Matt and the new owner didn’t see eye to eye, both the Luton assistant managers have left suggesting Matt is bringing in his own backroom guys.

Reading extracts from his post-appointment first interview at Luton, he seems to be making some very specific points without actually saying them out loud.
“The fact that they’re all Luton supporters and that they care so much about their football club shone through, and the fact that they had a real big desire for me to join our football club also shone through, so I’m incredibly proud and very, very happy to be here.
“That made me feel very comfortable and very wanted, which is huge for me.

The Wycombe fans are mainly understanding of his position, and realise why he has left, their very decent Head of recruitment Scott Mitchell fell out with the powers that be there and got kicked out just before Christmas, he was immediately snapped up by Oxford. Some good news for the U’s, Oscar Thorn has signed a contract extension to 2027. He’s still a bit raw, but I reckon he’ll only improve for us. | |
