Robert Earnshaws son signs for United on 16:52 - Jun 2 with 585 views | ReslovenSwan1 | Some doubt as to if he is eligible. Born in England schooled in England. Earnie was half Zambian to an English father and Zambian mother but was schooled in Wales. Does this carry over .?

Definitely not eligible, unless he qualifies from living in Wales for the last five years. That was Earnshaw’s get in, he could have played for England as well. So, without researching which qualification rule he played for Wales under he would definitely qualify through residence. Not his son.

Mexes will hope to continue the long line of Welsh-qualified youngsters who have thrived at United, the most recent of which is Cardiff-reared Gabriele Biancheri, who enjoyed a stellar campaign in front of goal for United's under-18s and under-21s this year.
