Great news if that is the case!

Huge for us if true. Trying not to get carried away though. Dread to think how many points he has saved us

lets hope Watson has this signed and sealed otherwise the comments may alert other clubs in the division. I expect Brighton will want him to be at a club next season who are going to be competitive.

Or maybe it's better to hang onto a second choice keeper who's proven to be capable enough as long as his manager doesn't insist on lunatic passing in our own penalty area.

Pain or damage don't end the world. Or despair, or f*cking beatings. The world ends when you're dead. Until then, you got more punishment in store. Stand it like a man... and give some back.

I agree great news if it comes about , one thing though his distribution does need working on which will improve I'm sure and another solid day today except for said distribution which was a little off.

He played about ten games at the end of last season in a proper defensive four. Conceded less than a goal a game and didn't put a foot wrong. So yeah, "proven" to be capable. Not great by any stretch, but capable without a manager purposely trying to make his life harder.

You might wish to ally yourself to other shallow thinkers like Perchy and AJ, but your little predjudices have little relevance to reality.

Lol indeed.

Not sure what is happening to Broome. I have only noticed him playing one u21 games so far. It looked an odd signing having been released from Wimbledon.

Don't see any problem in keeping Fisher as a back up keeper, we have other far more Important areas in the squad to address

He's on £10K a week and has a long contract, in my opinion too expensive for a back up keeper.

Not sure who would take him. His appearance at Bournemouth was full of errors Inc a goal conceded, possibly two.

Tell me you’re on a wind up.
10k.
Who gave him that contract ?
Horrific.
One we are stuck with then.
I doubt Forest Green Rovers would take him.

Can't have long left on his contract, 1 more year possibly?

When he joined us it was a four and a half year contract. When people see the finances they see why I want him out, far too expensive for a back up.

Didn’t realise it was that long, in that case then yes I'd agree.
Unfortunately if he's happy to sit out the rest of his contract we're stuffed

Another two and half years left. And people slag off Watson. This was Martin after Marc Allen had goe presumably and Marsh being quite junior persuaded it was a good idea. He faces 30m months of being a back-up.

Swansea can get some money back sending him on loan (half wages) and bringing through an academy player like Webb. Broome is not an option it seems as he does not play for some reason. Evan Watts ,Margetson, Ben Hughes?

Another gripe at the academy /CoE no goalkeepers. All that graft and nothing. Lewis Thomas, Cornell, Zabret , Benda.
