The value of the Owners investment relies solely on the success on the pitch.
A better chairman, or in the case of Gude, the success of the guy who puts the kettle on for the Chairman, can squeeze a few more quid out of marketing. But, the big money is made from on pitch success.
So, why scrimp on the managers pay and spend considerably more on the Chairman's?
It's the same with the DoF. Get rid of him and use the money to bring in a better manager. At least then he can bring in players he is going to use |  | | |

Conservatively £6m spent this summer, yet we can’t afford to bring Chris Davies in, whilst those same players (Key excepted) flounder under a caretaker manager who, by his own admission, isn’t ready yet. | | | |

Take Yates for example he cost £2.5M and playing like a £500K player. Either an almighty cock up by the expensive decision makers or a coach/manager not playing him to his potential. If it's the latter, paying a coach to have players playing at their full potential is chicken feed compared to the loss of player value throughout the squad. Simple business and football sense of which our owners seem to have neither. | | | |

Nobody actually knows what they are being paid or whether private school fees are included. If Mr Dinnen came back the cynics would be saying "pay peanuts expect monkeys". (I think Mr. Dineen is a true club hero by the way).
What I do know is that Morris and Levien are putting their faith in them and expect results. If they do not do well they will be gone. Coleman knows it. That is why he was a little early in recognising his mistake with Duff.
No one on here joins me in discussing the SCST who £400,000 blew on legal advice and agencies. Birch allowed the the BLM to access the players and the training centre and the media group without any due diligence. [Post edited 28 Dec 2023 17:55]

The owners have blown more than £400k on kangaroo loans dating back to 2017. Bony, Ayew, Rodon, Mesa and other sales were all borrowed against. 6-7% interest quoted as being charged on some of the arrangements. What about the 5% interest on Silverstein’s convertible note?
