Are you going to continue doing your updates on home tickets sold now that the realisation of how bad the club is has well and truly settled in?

Decent crowd again last night, helped by Ipswich selling out.

Given how dreadful the team are, the crowd for Leeds will be interesting, with a lunchtime kick-off on TV and a train strike that weekend.

I suspect the crowd for Rotherham may well be higher; I know a lot of fans who are going to that game but not Leeds.

It didn’t look a great crowd on tv. A lot of empty seats all round

Maybe a lot of ST holders decided to give it a miss for whatever reason.

A few midweek bar mitzvah’s on maybe……

We thought that we had the answers, It was the questions we had wrong.

Many of the empty seats were in the Family Section, for mid week games a lot of younger fans with season tickets are probably unable to go and for the same reason there will be a less single ticket purchase

There were empty seats all around the ground.
There’s no shame in it.
It happens frequently in The Championship.
Empty seats aplenty.

I admire the loyal customers that rain or shine will pay to watch Saints at home at the moment. The last few years the home form and football has been terrible.

I agree there were empty seats around the ground, but most of them were in the Chapel End

Mmmm.

Kids’ season tickets are so cheap in that part of the ground that the parents probably think it’s no great loss if they give some games a miss.

You have to encourage the younger generation, but a fair chunk of the kids in the family centre will be under 10 years old and usually in bed by the time the half time whistle is blown

I tell you there was. Go and watch the game back on Sky. If the official attendance was 27k it more than conceivable its a lot less when season ticket holders are counted as part of the attendance

I was at the game so I dont need to check Sky, 12,000 seats is well over 1/3 of the ground, it would be the equivalent of the entire Itchen stand being empty as well as most of one end of the ground,

I think 27 k is not far off the mark
