1. Who plays 4-4-2 in 2023? Formation was completely wrong today. Coventry played a 3-4-1-2. We could easily have matched them today with Chair in the hole. problem is not so much can he trust them more do they fit into the 4-4-2 hit the big man style he wants to play and they sadly don't.

Nonsense I'm afraid. Properly quick players such as Djibril Cisse and Wayne Routledge have proper pace. If you think Chair is in the same category as them, then you're the one not watching him. Others like Adel Taarabt, Eberechi Eze, and Chris Willock, have a turn of pace which is why they seemingly glide straight past players with total ease. If you think Chair has the same kind of pace as them then again, you are the one not watching him very often. He has neither outright pace or a turn of pace. I at no stage suggested he was slow and is clearly quicker than your average defender or central midfielder, but he is not a 'pacey' player. |  | | |

there's nothing unusual in the premier league about a member of staff being appointed as caretaker manager after a manager is sacked. temporary manager does well and gets the gig as what happened in the case of Gary O'Neil.

Yeah, you can't class Chair as rapid. How many times have you seen him seemingly in on goal and then watched as he's checked back because he's worried he's about to be caught by the defender. Proper pacey players, such as Bright Samuel, when they get a head start on a defender, that's it, they're away with no stopping them. Chair is by no means slow, but wouldn't pick out pace as a big strength of his. | | | |

Atletico Madrid has play it for ages under Simeone and they are doing fine. Every season top-3 in Spain. Aston Villa use it after they appoint Emery. They were bottom 3 and now they are top-6.
