Swansea City v Reading : Matchday Thread 2021/22 MATCHDAY on 18:31 - Nov 27 by AndyCole | Wasn't it just. To shrug it off as such is a tad demeaning and insulting to the collective cause. What is it we could have done better ? Any ideas ? I truly doubt you have any idea. Maybe some fans should think of Solutions instead of always looking at Who and What to blame. Not expecting anything from Winston on this - way above his pay grade. Doesn't do constructive critique, too risky. . . . . .. |

What difference does it make if fans think of solutions, does RM consult Swansea independent before naming his team, he's becoming increasingly random and bizarre.

Swansea City v Reading : Matchday Thread 2021/22 MATCHDAY on 20:05 - Nov 27 with 1370 views | nantywatcher | We deserved a point today - to lose to another poor decision from a linesman is hard to take. Some very good individual performances hampered by some below par efforts. Laird is a liability in this league now he's been sussed out by other managers - cannot defend or attack. Patto has scored some cracking goals but his overall game is badly flawed - feather light and a dream for Championship midfielders to handle. Bennett should be restricted to the bench. Reading came to make a fist of it and we were nowhere near sharp enough with our defending. But there were positive signs and a bit more luck with all those goal line scrambles in front of the Reading goal we might easily have won. Not sure about the criticism of Williams - for his first competitive game for ages I thought he looked composed.

Andy Cole. it's not relevant to the result but why did the ref put up with so much time wasting from Reading. You'd think it was the FA cup final the way ALL their outfield players went sprinting after the scorer and then slowly walked back to their half. Oh for a Clive Thomas!

so I gather I'm slow tonight.. Reading did take opportunity to time waste..again it highlights the inconsistency and quality of the officials...though as you say no bearing on the result.

Swansea City v Reading : Matchday Thread 2021/22 MATCHDAY on 18:57 - Nov 27 by Badlands | He got it very wrong. Rhys' first start for how long? Against Caroll!! I hadn’t realised just how one footed Williams is. (Memo to Cabango… leave before your career is wrecked.) Smith for Downes😳 Bennett. Lived out of position. Grimes was back to his pre-contract standard with zero leadership. Messed around with back line again and got punished again. No urgency from 5th to 75th minute. Passing was awful and very negative. Ball kept being plaid to Laird who was in the pocket of their left back all afternoon. Shocking, shocking, shocking play after scoring .. twice. Manning pushed forward but didn’t offer much in defence. Then Cullen; apart from give away a foul what did he contribute? |
Can't argue with any of that
| Swansea Indepenent Poster Of The Year 2021. Dr P / Mart66 / Roathie / Parlay / E20/ Duffle was 2nd, but he is deluded and thinks in his little twisted brain that he won. Poor sod. We let him win this year, as he has cried for a whole year. His 14 usernames, bless his cotton socks.

Swansea City v Reading : Matchday Thread 2021/22 MATCHDAY on 23:09 - Nov 27 with 1098 views | jacksfullaces | decent game for the neutral and reading fans. we are a mid table team with the odd flash of quality, ntcham/piroe in the main. nice goal from manning. awful defending at times. quite a few shots. quite a lot of possession. very windy, may have had something to do with tactics. just enjoy watching a game of football me, maybe covid has knocked out a bit of the passion, we'll see if comes back. bloomin freezing down there today, the on site catering has gone from bad to worse. Coffee made by Baldrick in the trenches, and costs a small fortune.

Laird is having a mare. He's on loan from a big team, so some are blinkered. He has been awful the last few matches for us.

He's a highlights player. A couple of dribbles and people start gushing over how amazing he is. Then for 80 minutes he doesn't look fussed, nowhere near the ball.

Please show me the highlights last few matches. Stealing a living Dan James gave us alot more on the other flank, and he wa not good enough for ManU. I would not take Laird on a free on current form . Alot of shithousery going on.

Swansea City v Reading : Matchday Thread 2021/22 MATCHDAY on 11:45 - Nov 28 with 840 views | OptimisticJack | Stayed to clap both teams off at the end. Ben Hamer was our last player off the field( way after all the other Swans players) and got involved in an ugly confrontation with Reading players and coaches. Got really heated and Hamer had to be forcibly restrained. Anyone know went on?
