Ryder Cup on 11:34 - Sep 21 with 1749 views | Catullus | I love the Ryder cup, the Missus won;'t get much out of me Sunday. We started stripping the wallpaper, I've been busy sorting out the front garden, it'll all come to a halt for me until the golf is over. I hardly ever watch other golf though!

Ryder Cup on 17:42 - Sep 22 with 1694 views | britferry | I've seen tournaments at Whistling Straits, it has sand everywhere, over a 1,000 sand traps. This could be good news for Europe, previously the USA have shaved the rough short, so that it suits their longer hitting players, by not getting penalised, with this course, they can't miss the sand. The course off Wiki: The Straits Course replicates the ancient seaside links courses of the United Kingdom and Ireland. Nestled along a two-mile (3 km) stretch of Lake Michigan, the course has eight holes hugging the lake, a flock of Scottish Blackface sheep, elevation changes of approximately 80 feet (24 m), and three stone bridges. It has vast rolling greens, deep pot bunkers, grass-topped dunes and winds that sweep in off the lake. Being a coastal links-style course, there are few large trees or woods on the course. The course is open and exposed to the wind and elements. Before the course was built, the property was an abandoned airfield called Camp Haven (1949—1959), with a stream running through the middle. Wisconsin Electric purchased the property in the 1970s and attempted to build the Haven Nuclear Power Plant on the property, but its construction was opposed by local residents and Wisconsin Power & Light (Sheboygan County's major electric utility), and the company never built the plant. It then sold the property in Kohler Company in the early 1990s. Kohler Company CEO Herbert Kohler hired Dye to be the course architect. During construction, the original landscape of the Straits Course was covered with about 800,000 cubic yards (610,000 m3) of dirt and sand.

Ryder Cup on 19:29 - Sep 23 with 1573 views | sw02sea | Rory’s still working on his swing with new coach Pete Cowem. Not sure if he’s totally up to speed with the changes yet. His form has been a bit up and down lately. Mind you, this is a bombers course which might suit him better. Has to get the ball in the hole more too, the number of times the ball just slides by the hole, must be infuriating for him. But for you and Europe, hope he does, cause he’s a class act when it all comes together 🇪🇺
Ryder Cup on 20:35 - Sep 23 with 1557 views | pikeypaul | The only reason ive done him is that the course fairways are so wide with little rough, suiting his long driving game and he will play at least 4 rounds. I agree he needs to dramatically step up his game from the last few months, but if anyone can Rory can.

That's a riddle if ever I read one. The last day is the bees knees. Anyway, just been reading up on Cadiz festivals. Feb sounds good. I had family living in Torrevieja for 20 years. Love Spain. Much harder to move there due to brexit I assume.

Not at all, just can’t come here without a proven 18k a year, which was really similar to before.

Probably one of the poorest Ryder Cup efforts by Europe for many a year, I blame Brexit

11-5 Anyone believe in miracles ? Before the tournament it was said that America have 8 of the top 10 world golfers, they love long drives and wide fairways. Also no European fans allowed. Always say never say never, not over till the fat lady sings, but she is certainly warming up in the wings.
