That's a coincidence - my son was hugged by a complete stranger at that moment!
The stadium seemingly literally rocked and Rodgers ran down the touchline, hi-fiving spectators.

3-3 Friday night.

1978 ,I think it was Cambridge during the winter of discontent. It was a friday night game and they parked a generator to the left of the enclosure by the double decker loads of exhaust fumes billowing out ,Then it broke down the floodlights went out and the game was abandoned. It was then played on the Saturday morning. Can any of you remember this.

The Palamos trips were a highlight for me. Great fun, lots of drinking and singing into the small hours until the owner of the pub had to phone the police to physically remove us. Shared a hot tub in the hotel with a few planetswans legends too but not in a gay way.

The creatures outside looked from pig to man, and from man to pig, and from pig to man again; but already it was impossible to say which was which.

Loved beating Liverpool at Anfield in the League game, we were on a really poor run at the time, nobody expected us to even draw that game...Sheff Utd in the FA Cup was an absolutely incredible day, QPR when Michu showed up in the sun, West Brom first half at the Liberty - still haven’t seen us move the ball like that since... beating Newcastle in the Gods, couldn’t make out who scored... didn’t care... welcome to the theatre of dreams as Ki & Siggi sent them home early, palace away when Rangel popped up late... trundles magic against Preston, Michu's double at The Emirates, the one that will live with me to the grave is James Thomas Hatrick at the Vetch, it felt like that game went on for hours... the sheer jubilation & tears that followed was incredible 👍

21st April 1984 Vetch Field after losing 3-2 to the shit on boxing day we were 2-0 down halftime, the 1st double was on the line, the north bank was not a great place to be, and then the greatest 2nd half I've ever seen happened, step up Dean Saunders and Walshy, I just cant explain the pure joy of that comeback 3-2 to the Jacks no double, f@ck off scummers! and that's why it's my greatest memory.

Another great memory was the 8-0 win over Hartlepool 1 season later and coincidentally George Smith was playing against us that day.

Did George Smith not score a screamer for us against Hartlepool in our 8-0 win?

Warwick bear hugging me on a tube on the way back into London after the play off final. It was in a totally gay way. I had to move a continent away after that and haven’t seen him since.

No. I was working as a youngster part time on the players entrance handing out comp envelopes and letting in players and officials through the small Player's Entrance gate.
I remember meeting George Smith as he came in off the Hartlepool team coach and he shook my hand. I felt 10 foot tall!
Also felt sorry for him as we buried Hartlepool 8 - 0

I also remember the excitement, tension and sheer ultimate disappointment of the home game against Spurs in the PL April 2017.
Led 1-0 through Routledge in the 11" minute, only to concede three goals late on.
Even when cheating Ali scored, was praying we'd get a draw but it wasn't to be
