Farage comes from exactly the same background as those you denounce as out of touch.

You understand this is all a money making game to him. He’s a trader.

What?

He’s not your salt of the earth working man, standing solidly on his immovable ingrained principles, and likes a beer and pork scratchings? How very dare you.

Poll: TRUST MEMBERS: What DID you vote in the, um, vote

Think it’s fair to say he does like beer and pork scratchings.

The creatures outside looked from pig to man, and from man to pig, and from pig to man again; but already it was impossible to say which was which.

Yes he’s not like those altruistic angelic beings from all the other parties.

Have you ever considered that Farage’s supporters do not care that he used to be a trader, and the working class are capable of judging people on their actions and not who or what they used to be?

Oh don’t play the ‘working class’ card ffs.

It’s pathetic.

Name me a couple of things Farage has ever done in support of the working class given it’s all about his actions.

Votes on the behalf of the working class while he’s been an MEP. That sort of thing.

Arguably Brexit could be the biggest thing anybody has ever done for the working class in decades.

.. and what difference would a vote in the EU make, seeing as his entire platform is built on the EU putting pressure on the working class through uncontrolled immigration?

Which part of “advisory” are you struggling with, numbnuts?

Having looked through the full debates on the EU Referendum Bill in Hansard I can't find that word. Perhaps you can direct me to the relevant Hansard reference? Of course, we all know that the House of Commons Library paper reminded readers that UK referendums are advisory, at least in the absence of a specific provision to the contrary, but that is hardly the point when you consider what politicians did say. . If you do read Hansard you will see that numerous MPs - including Ken Clarke remarkably - did say in terms that the result would be honoured. Now they talk of a 'people's vote' or revocation. I am with Jeremy Paxman when he said "You just can't do it".

You can’t then.

That’s a surprise.

Of course you’d have to find something he could be bothered to drag his lazy backside to, given he’s the worst voting record of any MEP. Not the worst in taking pay of course.

You’re wrong re Brexit btw. It’s the biggest con job sold in decades.

And the EU does nothing of the sort. We choose not to implement controls that are readily available,

Considering the amount of working class Labour voters who voted to leave I have to say that labelling it "Tory Brexshit" is missing the point spectacularly.

Until those in favour of Remain acknowledge and understand why people disagreed with them beyond throwing around the usual tedious "thickie racist xenophobe" crap Farage will keep bouncing back.

The labelling of Brexit voters as thick and racist only motivates many to get down the polling station and place and X for the Brexit Party. Some people have obviously not learned from the referendum. Other Europeans are not a different race (different nationality yes) in the minds of most British nationals, who seriously classes themselves as belonging to the British/Welsh race?

When people feel they're being looked down upon or gratuitously/maliciously accused of racism they take revenge at the ballot box.

It's own goal stuff all over again, the guy that threw his milkshake over Farage has since labelled Farage a racist. Absolute Kamikaze action i.e. Farage/Brexit Party gets dollops more publicity/media attention and gets even more more votes. I bet Farage knew he was going to have a confrontation and exploited the potential/end result for all its worth.

Argus!

What have the likes of Soubry, Umana, Corbyn etc done for the working class?

It’s a vague question, so I gave you a vague answer.

.. and the EU controls are meaningless, especially as our government is between a rock and a hard place trying to uphold socialist policies and keeping in line with EU legislation.

Nope. You said the ‘working class’ are able to see Farage for his actions.

So I asked you to name some. You can’t.

And the thought that this government are trying to uphold socialist policies is genuinely funny.

What do you mean the working class voted for brexit?

How on earth do you know?

More ‘working class’ people vote Labour than vote Tory and the majority of Labour voters voted to remain. So there’s no way of telling.

I didn’t name how those you mention supported the working class as I never claimed they did, it was whataboutery from you, so why on earth would I support something I haven’t said?

It was you that made the outlandish claim which you can’t support, not me.
