I went down to Hampton & Richmond to see them take on Truro City last night in the National League 1 South Play Off first round.
Hampton won 3-1 after extra time coming from 0-1 down. In goal was on-loan Rs keeper Seny Dieng. He saved a penalty down to his left in the second half and kept Hampton in the tie.
Played very well made a number of saves, commanded the box and looked a cut above at this level!
I can't remember in 40 years having so many quality keepers throughout the ranks! |  | | |  |

A mainstay in the under 23s this season, he has progressed well. His best performance was preseason away to Billericay Town when he gave a 10 out 10 of performance. We won 5-1 but it could have been a 6-5 defeat. He was that good.

Didn't realise that he'd played that often for the U23's this season. Didn't he join another non-league team back in October; I seem to recall that he even scored a goal for them (from a corner?).
I know the club let one of the young keepers go today but we still have something of a production line of goalkeeping talent, it would appear. | | | |
