Squeeze are in Pontardawe tonight. Right now in fact. We had tickets but couldn’t go. One of my all time favourite bands and always good value live. Great songs, good fun.

1st band I saw live.
Top Rank in about 82.
Great songwriters.
Wonder if Lohengrin is there? One of his favourite bands.

First time I saw then was in Barry, sometime in the 90s.
I’m racking up the muso points now.
To redress the balance, I’ve also seen Motley Crue. And many other spandex hair metal types. I’m currently singing along to Wham!’s “wham rap” and bloody enjoying it.

Kinda surprised they've fallen that low with their back catalogue.
Pain or damage don't end the world. Or despair, or f*cking beatings. The world ends when you're dead. Until then, you got more punishment in store. Stand it like a man... and give some back.

I saw Pink Floyd, Cliff Richard & The Shadows, Tears for Fears, Eric Clapton, Dire Straits, Elton John, Paul McCartney, Robert Plant (with Jimmy Page), Status Quo and Phil Collins (with Genesis) all in the same day.
Knebworth? I was there 100 times better than Glastonbury
Swansea Indepenent Poster Of The Year 2021. Dr P / Mart66 / Roathie / Parlay / E20/ Duffle was 2nd, but he is deluded and thinks in his little twisted brain that he won. Poor sod. We let him win this year, as he has cried for a whole year. His 14 usernames, bless his cotton socks.
Saw them supporting Bryan Adams at the old Cardiff Arms Park in about 1991/92. Would have enjoyed it more now than I did then.

Missed that one and Marillion...... Marillion played there as a warm up gig for a tour.... major coup and thing to pull off at that particular point of time. A band like that playing in an unfashionable smaller venue when they could have gone elsewhere.
Argus!
