Corbyn as Prime Minister 11:26 - May 28 with 35988 viewsoff2div1

Labour policies are more for the working class but is Corbyn capable of running the country.

Labour for me! I have worked in education for 30 years and have seen the appalling decline in funding under Tory rule. Children being taught GCSE subjects by non-specialist teachers, subjects being cut from the curriculum, crazy reforms (thanks Mr Gove) for no good reason - our kids are not getting a good deal at all. I shudder to think of the state that schools will be with another 5 years of Tory rule. I can't speak for the NHS and the Police but I suspect things are at least as bad for them. Surely education, health and security should be our priorities for a prosperous and stable society?

Whilst not a tory, I am struggling to support those parliamentarians who so recently considered Corbyn unfit to lead their party let alone the country.

Perhaps they know him better having worked alongside him day in and day out.

Or, if you prefer to consider them lacking in judgement, that appears a convincing argument for not re-electing the vast majority of labour's candidates who sought to depose him.

Not really, just unlikely to be an overall majority.

If May ends up with fewer seats than what she started with its poss she may be pressured into resigning

Then we the whole debacle starts again..or could she call another Election as the Wilson government in the 70s did?

What appeared to be an open goal for the Tories could be a complete shot in the foot scenario.

If the exit poll is correct you could see the SNP, Libs, Green joining labour in a possible coalition. It’d then be PC and the irish mp’s who could sway who is PM. Given that Sinn Fein don’t attend parliament it might be a few days before anything is ironed out.

Poll: Final position

Absolutely. What should have been a hundred plus seat majority has been let down by an awful campaign and manifesto.

Disaster for the country if there is no overall majority. Watch the pound plummet even more tomorrow.
Very bad for the economy and for anyone planning a holiday.

I think you're right . If the exit polls are correct she's got what she deserves after that campaign.
