Should that matter ? It seems to be the norm these days with most clubs.

You have to recruit the players from somewhere, at what age group do the players have to start in to be considered 'home grown' or is it purely a nationality thing.

I dont think the Scottish players will count towards home grown, I believe that they have to have played for the club for at least 3 years before being 21. Someone else might be able to confirm.
