He's done a really good job at Cardiff, he's stopped the rot and is taking up the league. Unless they win every game between now and the end of the season I don't think they will be anywhere near the play offs, but if he had been in charge from the beginning of the season it's my belief they would now be top 6.
As for next year, somebody mentioned FFP, I think it will be harder for Cardiff next year as they will get a smaller parachute payment, they also have to compete with Villa, Norwich, QPR, Fulham and the 3 teams that go down this year who will all be receiving parachute payments and there are also some pretty big teams in their own right, Leeds, Sheffield Weds and Wolves. The longer they are in there the harder it will be to get out. | | | |

We've cycled off a lot of the higher paid players; a few more will be going.
Warnock has got the side competitive with the players he's inherited along with the few he's brought in for nothing. Plenty of teams will pay the big bucks sure. I suspect a fair few younger players will be given chances before the end of the season. | |
