Well the clubs can still make their owners money, it's just a more restrictive system than how ownership works over here. The clubs are not independent operators, they are subsidiaries of their parent company & league. This offers a lot of security/parity between clubs/less risk of competition disappearing etc.
That Levein is a member of two different investment groups that own football clubs shouldn't worry Swansea fans. Diverting huge lump sums from one to the other doesn't benefit him, really. | | | |
