regrets 21:48 - Nov 11 with 4202 views | walterjack | I wonder do you think the kents that are the previous board have got regrets the way this has gone ? or will they be relaxing in their jacuzis throwing fifty pound notes in the air thinking where did it all go wrong

regrets on 22:43 - Nov 11 with 3195 views | Wingstandwood | It depends on ego and when they all depart?... Being stripped of prestigious director 'status-symbol' title...no longer being a VIP...no longer having doors opened for you by others...no longer be revered and acclaimed by many...no longer mixing with the famous and high and mighty...becoming vastly lesser a powerful ,influential and significant person can be like taking the heroin fix away from a dependant. Is that why (after many years of the above) our board members were and still are so obviously desperate to keep their director title and lifestyle. Look at JVZ FFS! Money cannot buy everything because happiness is a state of mind and by selling off their raison d'etre they have IMO lost a significant portion of that state of mind. Their lives will be a whole lot emptier and minus significant central meaning without SCFC.

From hero to zero are the words that come to mind for them! Now forever in SCFC supporters folklore and history. Nobody has forgotten Tony Petty even after all these years. The clocks cannot be turned back. They are further damned by their participation in their JTAK a movie that goes to exasperate their rank-hypocrisy and betrayal to mind blowing levels. They are forever damned! They could double their money but that will never take away their sh#t stained actions, their sh#t stained reputations and sh#t stained names.

regrets on 00:02 - Nov 12 with 2988 views | siralan | They already know that 99.9% of the population including their families and ex friends know they are greedy scummy Kants of the highest order. The people I feel sorry for are the likes of Jenkins parents true Swans fans but due to the greed of their bawstad son they will now die in shame.

What you see is what you get You've made your bed, you'd better lie in it You choose your leaders and place your trust As their lies wash you down and their promises rust You'll see kidney machines replaced by rockets and guns And the public wants what the public gets But I don't get what this society wants I'm going underground (going underground)

Absolutely ; Gordon Jenkins (HJ's Dad) sat next to us in the old Double Decker for many years back in the 70's and we went on many away trips together. A lovely man, true Swans fan .....how must he be feeling now ?

This 100%. I can't imagine how they can continue to live in the area. Events of the last 6 months will never be forgotten. HJ and Morgan can't really go out in the area without looking over their shoulder waiting for someone to have a pop. This will never ever go away.
regrets on 10:18 - Nov 12 with 2692 views | monmouth | I know this will sound stupid but they haven't even got that much money if they want to enter the rich mans world. They will be laughed at as w*nky chancers and spivs that got lucky (like Delboy finding a painting) and thought of with contempt in their gated houses and costa villas. The newfound riches will undoubtedly lead to family acrimony; it always does, and I would expect a few more divorces now. Then who can you trust...every 'friend' will be after a cut. Their problems are just beginning. Their only hope of acting the big cheese was to remain local heroes, and they seem to have pissed on that spectacularly. Bitter? Yes of course, but that is just the normal trajectory of these things. They have thrown away an asset that can't be replaced, for some short term shiny toys and a lot of acrimony. If they'd acted differently they could have had it all plus respect, which can't be bought. It's a genuine shame, but shows how seriously braindead they are. No wonder most of them were so small time before the Swans dragged them out of obscurity.

Absolutely agree 100%. Also I think the only regrets this lot have is that they underestimated the love and gratitude felt for them. I think Huw thought he was untouchable due to his previous success. He knows differently now as his reputation has gone down the pan.

Agree with this. MM already had serious wealth that hasn't bought him as much respect as SCFC story. They sold out and destroyed their own legacy and with it their family reputations. If it goes badly for the club it'll be expensive to move their families away from the area and they'll be a long time retired. HJ and LD will be unemployable in the real world.

Personally i dont think it was his success, tip tapy football started with Martinez followed by success and again with Brendan, yes we won a cup, but I am of the opinion the rot had started that season, slowly the style started changing, and if you weigh up the money we have wasted on some players and staff since, including wages and pay offs, its not that great. some bad appointments , some crap players, and we trusted this lot to find new owners?!

I agree it has all gone downhill since Huw fell out with Toots. He called Huw a liar in the press as well and there was little response. I still think Huw bathed in his own perceived glory and the OBE just gave a huge boost to an already inflated ego. I would not be surprised he is still smugly thinking he has the ability to get us out if this mess with more bargain buys from the lower leagues in January.
