Makes sense - must be keeping her there for observation because of the concussion then! Thanks for the link. Nowhere near as important as her health of course, but also gutted for her as she had a real chance of winning from the position she was in.
The Olympics on 18:17 - Aug 8 with 1813 views | trampie | I think it was basically the last corner on the decent, i'm sure she would have won gold if she had not crashed on that corner, Wales representative in the mens I think came to grief on the same bend and he would have had a chance of winning/medalling but I think the Dutch girl was more likely to have won gold than not if she had made the bottom of the climb with the advantage and form that she had. I feared the worst, back/neck/head, spoilt the race for me, crashing is an occupational hazard but what happened to her looked horrific, I guess her family and friends were watching live back home and went from thinking she can win gold here to hoping she survives a terrible crash. I think the tv only showed it once, certainly not multiple replays which was sensible, read a few peoples comments last night on a cycling site and they did not want to revisit it as it was so bad [like me], even though they were wondering if her back wheel lost traction or locked up or she came in too fast at the wrong angle ect, people were not going to revisit it, perhaps they will today as it seems like she has survived it, but it was awful and then we have remarks like Darrans on here which was disgusting.

The Olympics on 19:31 - Aug 8 with 1727 views | trampie | Perhaps GB women 7's rugby team did not have enough Welsh players ?, at least they will be playing a side for bronze they have already beaten in this competition.

Aye - I was only joking. I don't like it either. A strangely American turn of phrase, 'to medal'. It's better than them breaking it down though 'to gold, to silver etc'. That would be very, very bad. Clare Balding is really bad for it.

Not sure any of those players would've been eligible for the women's team.

Just shows that Wales can play 7's, Wales women beat England in Swansea recently [England did not score a point] in the 15 a side game. If there was more Welsh involved perhaps GB would have done better, if GB get a bronze it will be seen as about par, nothing more.
