Messi eats pizza after every game. It's just loads of carbs and a bit of protein from the cheese. Great for recovery. Trust me, I used to pretend to be a bodybuilder. Alcohol isn't great. George Best may have been getting hammered between every game but so was every other professional at the time. Most of the foreign lads don't drink between games, or during the season at all.
