Liberty Stadium Food 14:03 - Aug 19 with 8347 views | HOWELLRHYSYJB | I don't know if anyone else had the experience that I had on Saturday. 2x Cheeseburgers ~ 2 x Portions of Chips ~ 2 x Bottles of Coke all for an amazing £17.00 OMG what a disgrace and the quality of the food was absolutely appalling. I certainly will not be buying any food in the stadium ever again, despite them offering me 2 free vouchers for a future game [Post edited 19 Aug 2015 14:41]

Liberty Stadium Food on 19:16 - Aug 19 by Tummer_from_Texas | Just curious - what's wrong with the beer there? Expensive, shitty, or both? And are there any other wine/spirit options? |
The beer is not the issue... it's the water that accompanies the beer.. it's watered down.

Nothing really. What you find in this thread is just people who like a moan. The food on offer is what you will find at most sporting events in the UK and in the U.S.....hot dogs etc. At the end of the day, people aren't going to the liberty to eat, they are going to watch a football match, if you want a drink, or something to eat you can. I have on a fair few occasions had hospitality at the liberty and the food was very good. [Post edited 19 Aug 2015 19:34]

Liberty Stadium Food on 19:45 - Aug 19 with 1697 views | jack247 | It is what it is. Overpriced, below average food served to a captive audience. Airports and motorway service stations use the same principle. I don't like the food there at all, but have bought it a handful of times for the sake of convenience. If you want a burger or a hot dog, get one from a van on the way in. If you are running late for kick off and haven't eaten, you either pay four quid for a microwaved pile of stodge, or wait till after the game. There are football grounds that do decent food, but we are far from unique here.

I've got to agree with the above, much the same as any stadium food and much the same price. If you don't like it don't buy it......personally I wouldn't eat it if it were for free, the very smell of those hot dogs make me feel sick, but obviously someone must like them.

Agree. In ten years I've never felt the need to eat at the Liberty. Never ate much at the Vetch either, save for the odd dodgy pasty. I have a pint every half time. It's not great but it does the job. I've had worse pints in a few of the pubs around the stadium.

The pints in the pubs around the stadium are nearly half the price though. It doesn't help that they pour the pints about an hour before they serve them, although I suppose that does help with the queues. But yea, I don't bother with the food or drink there anymore unless I'm desperate.

£3 for a bog standard lager in the Globe. How much in the Lib? £3.70/80? Not really half price.

They don't sell puddings in the stadium, however there are loads of them sitting around complaining continually until the 80th minute then they all decide they better get home quickly.

I found a pub not far from Paddington station doing pints for £1.80 on play-off final day! Although it was Carlsberg.
