We were dead certs for relegation about two weeks ago on here, now we're a top 6 side. This place is mad.
which just goes to show the fickle nature of fans and to some extent the futility of getting worked up by others opinions on boards such as these.
I note the same of Cardiff - was it 3 weeks ago that they were on a spiral of decline, playing the worst football ever seen, and being run into the ground. 2 wins and the play offs is an outside possibility apparently.
you do wonder what a measured view of a clubs real situation is? can it only be measured by how close (or not) you are to the top of bottom of the table.
ummm... well we are a mid table team right now, winning a few, losing a few more, could it be as simple as that? and can people cope with it, still dream of higher things, but also accept relegation as a possibility for most seasons we are in the premier league.

A yes from me. European away days are something special. I can appreciate the argument that we should get more PL money behind us first but if the opportunity arises I say go for it. We will either have to ensure the squad is strong enough to rotate or, falling that, we have a shadow team to pay in cups and Europa with a strong bench for support. We did it with some success last time and that was with unprecedented injuries.

Well at least time round we won't have a complete Joey in charge of strength and conditioning this time round, so we'll probably get less injuries
europa league and cl is a great way to get some great players to sign for us that we normale can not sign like bony noway he whould have signed for us if we didnt play EL
