Great performance attack and defense!

Certainly agree with the last sentence. He always puts a shift in. Routledge ran himself to a standstill too. I thought the one that disappointed me most was Sigurdsson; thought he was knocked off the ball and dispossessed far too easily. Gomis is the easy target though, so let me be clear, he was much improved yesterday, I hope he comes good and scores like a rabbit, and I think once he gets used to the speed of the league he might.

I still won't like him though.

Ki for me as mom .... Shelvey was mom on danish tv.

For me Ki has been player of the season... so far. :-)

I thought Shelvey had a great game today and is a threat. For a lot of last season he was our only chance of creating something. Would be nice if he could concentrate all the time and cut out the crazy stuff, but maybe with creativity comes the crazy stuff too?

Oh well!

Why man, Ki doth bestride the narrow world like a colossus and we petty men must walk under his huge legs and peep about to find ourselves dishonourable graves.
(Misprinted in later editions. There was a soothsayer in that play if I recall.)

Shakespeare didn't say "must" so we don't have to either, but I take your point

The comments on this thread show exactly what has gone wrong with some of our so called fan base. The lad played well. Worked his socks off with little support, closed them down and when a load of defensive headers. Amazed he still getting stick. Guess what he can't hold the ball up like bony, no 5h1t shirlock. Wilf is in a league of his own in that department truly world class at it. I guess the ones still giving him stick are the same who called Scotland rubbish, bony during the first 3 or 4 mths a waste of money and was delighted when ki went to Sunderland. .Thick tvvats

Yep, let just insult fellow fans rather than understand that it's OK for fans to have different opinions, and it would be a boring forum if everyone agreed.

Spot on . There really are some very clueless people on these forum`s and even worse on the Swans groups on Facebook .
Embarrassing . i have promised myself that every clueless idiot i see will get the ignore button .
Gomis worked his ass off all game .

If he had kept his mouth shut people would appreciate his effort more and be more supportive of him. He didn't though and will probably never win over a large section of our support.

Opinions are fantastic. Debate healthy. Unfortunately for me in the 21st century i get to read the opinions of fools with so little understanding and no sense of perspective of what is acceptable for a small premier league club.

Played well. Scored one, unlucky not to score two, worked hard and did his best to hold the ball up considering it's not his natural game.

Obviously giving him the credit he is due is beyond some people.

Scored one hahahaha.

That's a cracker.

At least he tried yesterday, I'll give him that.

He wasn't very good though. If I was shelvey I'd be pulling my hair out playing with him. Every time he passes him the ball he gives it away.

As has been said, his best work is from defensive corners

I don't really give two farts what players or sportmen in general have to say about anything . their football players not politicians.
I want them to do a job on the pitch not enlighten me with some wonderful words of wisdom.

I think the next game will be big for him, if he don't do it there his in trouble.

I still think were not playing to his strengths though, hes not a holding player,

How is wilf doing in City?

he managed to fluff his lines aswell, the pressure is on, hopefully he'll not get on in City and then come back to us at a super knockdown price
