Has anyone seen the actual interview?
Preferably someone who is fluent in French and the nuances of the language, who can then translate it properly into English.
Or have comments been taken out of context by journos , probably using Google translate ('cos most of them can hardly speak English, let alone French) looking to sell their copy to try and make a living?
I know no journo would deliberately cause trouble to make a story. They have far more integrity than that.

I think the Club via GM is saying "it is not going to be that easy to leave unless big money comes in based on your performance".
Personally, although his record is good up till now I don't think he has done any more for the club than Emnes. |
His record isn't good up until now though. 1 PL goal (2 really if you count the West Ham 'goal' given as an OG) is not a good return for half a season. But spot on re Emnes - he was more influential last season with a similar (less probably) amount of game time. I'm not sure if that's a compliment to Emnes or damming to Gomis. |  | | |

Gomis has directly won us 3 points (2 Arsenal -1 West Ham) on a part time basis. I rate him - but it does not look like he has a future here. |  | | |
