Ok then best live act on 01:53 - Sep 12 with 1717 views | JBT95 | Plan B at the CIA 04/02/2013 for me was the best gig I have attended. Two different style of music albums, in a cinema set up style stage with a break in the middle spilting the two albums with a beat boxer. Awesome atmosphere.

Ok then best live act on 23:59 - Sep 11 by fishman | Sparks were great live, saw them at the top rank 10 cc @ Townhill college around 71/72 Worst I have seen Hawkwind at the rank ,boring or what, also Man at Cardiff castle ,they were one of the support acts, timer went round that they were offered money to finish their set early, everybody soaked to the skin, and they played 2 songs,or was it 1 ,all I know they were in the wrong place at the wrong time Damn IPad ,auto correct ,should have been "rumour " |
That gig at the castle, we went up by motorbike, as you say weather was horrendous, great gig though- thin Lizzy, Andy fairweatherlow, man and queen. Others I have seen Genesis(with and without Gabriel) Pink Floyd Black Sabbath Yes Sensational Alex Harvey band Wishbone ash The pretty things Supertramp King crimson Lindisfarne Vinegar Joe(Robert palmer and Ellie Brooke's Osibisa Deep purple Whitesnake Rem The who The clash Squeeze 10cc East of Eden Rory Gallagher List is endless! Love live bands, saw my first gig at the patti aged 14, I'm 58 now and still go to concerts, live gigs at pubs etc.

Ok then best live act on 15:20 - Sep 12 with 1538 views | perchrockjack | dicky. Springsteen 85 tour brought him into the main stream but his late 70 s stuff and his solo work has lasted and still resonates. Ive seen many bands in my lifetime but he stands alone as a performer and nobody comes close. I d say the Foos and Dave Grohl come close but Grohl doesn't have the charm and approach BS has. Springsteens gift is to articulate love, hate, dreams, reality, pain, joy, marriage, divorce, parents and kids . I once knew someone who knew him as a kid and as a start and he hardly changed and is a great guy
