Poll: Do you want the Irish to get through?

No thanks. His teams play dull football are are very poor defensively.Surely we can do better (but can we do cheaper and that's how the decision will be made)?

I would have thought West Ham would be the next stop for Manky.

Van Gaal or Laudrup.

Hmm, close decision to be made there, methinks.

Mackay would gaive a Prem job at a club with more continuity than most which has launched the careers of two young big manager names at the moment.

He'd also get his mate Moody a job

Why would he be THAT bad a choice do you think? I'm intrigued I am quite happy with GM for the current moment in time however and if he keeps us up then there should be no immediate reason to replace.

Happy with GM ??

No immediate reason to replace ??

MM not that bad a choice??

init, really not sure how anyone can be happy with the GM experiment. I would of loved for it to work but it hasn't , if he keeps us up then it should be a thank you and replace him

Indeed.

Probably not going to happen though.

Pain or damage don't end the world. Or despair, or f*cking beatings. The world ends when you're dead. Until then, you got more punishment in store. Stand it like a man... and give some back.

One of the reasons for our success in recent years has often been said to be our insistence on appointing managers that suit our footballing philosophy. It's surprising to see how many people on this site believe that now is the right time to move away from this approach and appoint someone like Mackay or Pulis.

Hopefully our board have got a little more faith and a little less panic that some of the posters on here.
