Psycho rejects Reds' job? 11:21 - Mar 27 with 3212 viewsdavram

Contrary to earlier rumours that Stuart Pearce could be appointed as stop-gap manager at the Reds' dump following the dumping of Davies, Sky reports that he's turned it down:

Maybe owner Al Hasawi's promise that the new manager would have a close connection to the club won't now be met...the "opportunity" already having been rejected by non-Reds "legend" Neil "Colin" Warnock.

Update here:

The old song "Who Can I Turn To?" seems rather apt here....

Psycho turned down the job 'for family reasons', but is now allegedly back in the frame:

He did have an unspectacular 'caretaker' spell at The City Ground, neither Pearce nor Hasawi can seem to make up their mind about who's having the job!

In a burst of neighbourly encouragement, we happily offer a new 'hot list' of those that would be perfect for ensuring a high-debt, mid-table 2nd or 3rd tier existence for the Trees:

Some suggestions are 'recyclers' like Wee Billy was, and these others might well be up for a second (failed) stint as well - and who is to say they aren't deserving of another laughable spell in the Forest hot-seat?

This little lot should send Mr Al-Hasawi scrabbling for the phones:

Gary Megson
Tony Mowbray
Steve Cotterill
Paul Jewell
Peter Reid
Paulo Di Canio
Roy Keane (might get the surly clogger off our live-game TV screens)

Or how about Tim Sherwood for Forest (gedditt??) - he's unlikely to be leading Spurs for very long. He could do a 'Robin Hood' for Forest, grabbing and spending lots of the Kuwaiti owner's money on a poor team...

Job done - arrange the televised tour of that opulent Kuwait palace with the new incumbent and Natalie from ITV, quick! That's if they're letting reporters back in now....

BREAKING NEWS - Pearce looks set to become the new (or latest) F*rest manager after all; obviously not the first choice, but desperate times usually dictate desperate measures!

The BBC's Pat Murphy believes that SP will be appointed within a couple of days, but Gary "nutter" Brazil may retain temporarary role of manager (isn't a Forest manager ALWAYS temporary?) until after the season's end.

A "non-interference" clause said to be central to Pearce's contract, likely to be "only" a two year deal. But how long he actually lasts this time around is another matter....

There was also a non-interference clause inserted into the Red Dogs on the pitch at the iPro Stadium recently...

UPDATE - 2/04/2014: Pearce appointment is now pending:

Apologies for this latest update - I'm sure that others must also be getting really bored with F*rest's Fawaz fiddling & f*rting around frantically for his latest "temp" in this way.....
