There has been done 2 big mistakes by the board this year. Not to buy the player Laudrup wanted before the season and again during the last window. The second was to let Laudrup go in february when the team was 12th, in the FA and Euro league and letting a virgin manager take over.
Monk is no manager, he is no trainer he was not even a player and now the hole club is is problems. Relegations is getting closer and closer and and WBA and Sunderland win while we loose and we are under the line.
To bad because then we will loose all the good players we have. and reentering the PL will be even harder. | | | |

However we still outplayed them for most of the game, 59% possession, 21 shots to their 9, 12 corners to their 5.

Positives - We played well, were the better team on the day, created loads of chances, scored two good goals and other results went more or less completely the way we'd have wanted them to. And PS seems to be on super slo-mo. Shelvey, Bony, Routledge.
Negatives - Our defence has taken collective leave of its senses and we didn't score from most of the oodles of chances we created. Canas, Chico, Williams, Davies, Rangel.
Playing well and losing is fine in October, it ain't going to cut it in March. |
You forgot to include Leon in that defensive suicide pact but aye, spot on.
Our attacking players deserve better than what's happening behind them, although they're also guilty of spurning some gilt edged chances. However I have more sympathy for them as no team has a right to earn anything after gifting three goals in that manner.
Perversely, I'm even more optimistic about Tuesday than I was beforehand. Play like that and we've got a decent shout.
As for Monk, the one thing I always clung to was the belief he'd sort the defence out. If anything it's got quite a bit worse. |  |
