EVERYONE knows the board made the wrong appointment in Jones. I turned to my lad after 15 mins of the Brighton game and said that Jones will be gone within a month He’s so far out of his depth We have no pattern of play, No tactics, No idea how we will create chances. I don’t even feel sorry for him as he hasn’t tried hard enough to win over the fans to get them onside The fact that we didn’t even speak to another manager after Ralph left bewilders me I can’t believe that I’m now praying that Sean Dyche will still speak with us after we totally overlooked him before I still believe that with the right manager and coaching team, we could put out a team and a formation and a style of play that would at least create the opposition problems. The board need to put their hands up and admit they’ve made a BIG mistake in appointing Jones whilst there is still time. With a new manager, an experienced striker and a midfielder to replace Romeu…. We still have a chance of staying up The clock is ticking …… |

Given 24 hours in charge of Saints: 1) Sack Pellegrino 2) Apologise to Gabbi for mis-using him 3) Instruct the team we are now playing 4:4:2. 4) Coach the team to play the ball forward occasionally 5) Check on Chazza's fitness 6) Pray |

Message to General Dave Watson... The Saints fans beg you to help our beloved team in our struggle against relegation.. Our team has fallen under attack. I have information vital to the survival of our club ...it is vital it does not into the hands of the Stubborn Darth One-Plan Pelligrino. You must ensure we play 2 up front.. Simple plan - Palace & Watford did this to us recently so it does work....This is our most desperate hour. Use a Jedi mind trick on the Sith Lord Mauricio ... Freeze him in Carbonite ... anything ... just keep him away from the team this weekend. Help us, Obi Dave Watson- Kenobi. You're our only hope. |

The issue isn't the handball . That's irrelevant. The issue is that we are currently the poorest side in the league with the weakest and most inept manager and a board with no clue. The answer is simple... To make a brave decision and get a new manager in to turn the team around. Kevin Keegan has been seen in Trevor Mitchell's hair salon and also at Plested's Pies in the last few days... You heard it here first. |

I'm hearing almost unbelievable rumours that Kevin Keegan will be the next Saints Manager..... you heard it here first |
| News Comment | Saints Keen On A Raid On Puel Harbour at 16:33:19
We don't need a lightweight striker who makes lots of runs and never gets the ball because we have one of them already in Gabbi. The only times we have looked dangerous all season is when Charlie Boy has been playing so as Pellegrino is never likely to change the way we are playing, then we need to get another big Number 9. Someone like Grazi Pelle. Maybe Andy Carroll or Crouchy? Sam Gallagher ? Olivier Giroud ???? |
| News Comment | Where Is The Central Defensive Signing ? at 14:05:44
We don't need a defender. I'm not sure we even need a striker. We need an attacking midfielder who can run past the striker (like Sadio Mane used to) and we need the midfielders to then play the ball forward occasionally. If they had done this from the start of the season and at least tried to pick out Gabbiadini's runs, then he wouldn't have lost his confidence and got so hacked off every game. We also need a Plan B of 2 up front. I believe we don't even have a Plan A. We also need a Manager who actually gives it some thought as to how we will score goals. If we scored a goal or 2 then we wouldn't invite so much pressure on us all the time, which in turn leads to conceding and then the defence facing unjustified criticism when the problem lies elsewhere. |
| News Comment | Saints V Newcastle United Dan's Preview at 11:44:05
Prediction: We won't score. The match will be very dull. Pellegrino will play with just 1 up front again and expect a different outcome. Fans will become bored and disillusioned. Pellegrino will say after the game that we controlled the game but that we need to find more in the final third .....blah blah blah. |
| News Comment | Saints At Stoke City The Verdict at 11:17:15
Totally agree with Wibbersda. Why are Saints Managers so stupidly stubborn? We actually had some proper chances to score inside the box in the last 15 minutes once we had 2 strikers on the pitch. 20 odd shots on goal do not count as chances if they are all powder puff efforts from outside the area. Stoke were there for the taking ...and we missed the easiest opportunity we will have all season for an easy away win. There are only 2 players that can consistently score goals and that's Austin and Gabbiadini. Get those 2 in the STARTING 11 and we will score goals. It's not that complicated. |
| News Comment | Pellegrino Hints At A Change In Formation ! at 13:30:23
Three at the back will never work. It's crying out for Austin and Gabbiadini up front together. Austin will hold the ball up and then we can get up the pitch, and bring everyone else forward. It's pointless being one of the best footballing teams in the first two thirds of the pitch. Who cares? It annoyed me so much last season with Puel and it annoys me this season with Pellegrino. He says 2 up front wouldn't work but he's never even tried it. Our midfielders are not goal scoring midfielders and probably never will be, so let's pick a team which plays to it's strengths. |
