Really don't understand why you'd get banned from something I love to throw something at the lino about a free kick in what ultimately was a nothing game against Sheff Utd. Absolutely moronic.
Re R block, no, I'm in PL and it deffo came from near the stairs in the seat in Ellerslie. Where incidentally two home matches in a room I've seen a couple (well, two different couples) being thrown out. What's in the water over there? |

A lot of forums are similar tbh. A huge number of my friends I met on Drownedinsound (or
DiS for short). Even towards the end of my time posting there (maybe 2011?) the site was collapsing as I guess no one ever planned to host 20+ years of content. I drop back there now and again cos it's a great way of keeping up with new releases, and it's on a new platform and even that is creaking.
But they're brilliant. Maybe I'm a sad sack but I've been a huge forum user all my adult life. Bringing together people who otherwise may not have communed with each other on a shared passion; not as disposable as microblogging sites; more personable than info dumps like reddit. I have 3 pateron subs and they're all for forums cos I think they are a totally unmitigated success of the connectivity era, but the hardest platform to keep going and we need to treasure them. |

Look, I'm a millennial, so there's nothing I can't bring back to a Simpson's reference. But I recall the Frank Grimes episode where he tries to make fun of Homer winning a children's science contest and Lenny replies "Yeah, and Homer beat their brains out"
Beating that Derby team means little; pulling their pants down and smacking their bottom was a statement of intent.
I feel it is useless to point to historical precedent when it's clearly a weaker than average year. There are 2 play off spots very much in play imo. Will it be hard for us to get one of them? Someone in the Lower Loft blew a gasket and started screaming "FFS Rangers, GET YOUR HEAD IN THE GAME!"
I briefly had a what year is it, who's the president moment until I looked at the scoreboard and saw it was the 82nd minute and we were winning 4-0. Football is so often wasted on football fans.

The Substance was proper have it's cake and eat it. You're not really satirising unrealistic and over sexualised treatment of women in entertainment if you're also having long, overly sexualised takes.
