Our support in terms of noise is the worst it has been in many a year, probably the worst since the days of Poortvliet and Wotte. |

Re Point 1.
I accept this point has been debated to death.
As some on here may know, I will and do sing pretty much all game.
However most in the Northam are not bothered as:-
1. they will only sing for most of the game if they have away fans next to them to sing at
2. they are too pre-occupied with their phones, checking the scores of other games, probably for betting purposes; or just generally messaging people
3. the team keep losing
I cling on to some hope that it will be better in there next season if we are winning more regularly and we can build up some momentum of noise. |

I have many gripes with Russell Martin.
Another one which I am increasingly noticing is how unfit the squad are.
We are virtually running on empty in the last 15 minutes of games.
You can accept that other teams will have more skilful players, but there is no excuse for our teams being poorly-prepared and unfit.
Let alone all the tippy-tappy nonsense. |

But it doesn't necessarily have to be a cross.
We could play it short, or out to a player on the edge of the area.
Keep the opposition guessing; we just don't have that variety or element of surprise about us. |

I really feel we have suffered with not having a dedicated set-piece coach.
With us creating so little in open play, we simply have to be more of a threat from set-pieces.
We had a number of corners in the second-half, but never looked like scoring from any of them.
There is very little imagination in our corners. You look at some of the goals Boscombe have scored from set-pieces, and they are clever, you can tell they properly practise them.
Marginal gains and all that nonsense has rarely seemed so apt. |

The ref was indeed horrendous.
As they all seem to be in this League.
I particularly approved of the "coont with a whistle" song. Hope that came across on the TV. |
