I can vouch for loftboy’s experience of today’s deluge as I was standing in front of him.I had a big puffer coat on that was soaked by ht.It was the coldest I’ve felt at a match for years.
It’s my own fault really as a mate offered me two tickets in the South Africa rd stand in place of mine but I turned him down as I didn’t think it would rain as much it did.

I usually watch the warm up from the bottom row of SAR before going up to my seat up the back and didn’t bother yesterday mate - as you say was absolutely rotten. Thank God for the performance and result at least. | |
