QPR v Udinese B Match thread 09:36 - Nov 30 with 34841 views | johnhoop | Apologies if this is a spack but I can’t see another one anywhere. In reference to the title I thought that Festy Ebosele looked by far the best of the Irish team that played England recently but I’d never heard of him. On looking him up found that he’s at Watford “on loan from Udinese.” A very hopeful 1-0 to the R’s.

Well you know teams have an 'anthem' at the start just before kick off? Like Sheff Utd do John Denver and sing about chips, and Sheff Wed do Hi Ho Silver Lining. Watford do Your Song by Elton John. Which is fcking lovely. And we all had a bit of a sway and a sing along after breakfast in the White Lion. But it's not exactly rev em up pre match is it?

Word for word exactly what I thought on the slow train back to Balham yesterday evening. Sat and watched the highlights and my God the misses looked even worse. But I was pleased with the performance and if we can replicate it then we'll be alright.

Compared with a few weeks ago at least we are making chances and people are in position to miss them. Progress in small steps.
QPR v Udinese B Match thread on 14:48 - Dec 1 with 1830 views | Wegerles_Stairs | I recently read that book about Graham Taylor's special 'friendship' with Elton John. Like brothers they were. Except Elton didn't even attend his funeral as he was in Vegas. Managed to make Princess Di's and sing a bloody song about it though, didn't you?????

I thought that was our best display of the season yesterday, miles and miles ahead of the Boro and Leeds game prior to the international break.

I am not seeing much about the penalty shout on this board Clive I thought it was a as clear as humanly possible to see he moved his body/shoulder towards the ball and blocked it so no excuse. The Linesman as usual did nothing to help the bad ref do his job. No question we would have won had that penalty been awarded and scored with the new found confidence we are playing with. Ironic that a missed penalty a week ago started a period of doom and gloom on this board now we have 5 points and sad we did not get 9 what a roller coaster but just its QPR after all. We are not getting relegated if we keep Marti take that to the bank

Aw, man, I heard that being played and wondered who'd died. I didn't recognise it. That's their anthem?

That wasn't the Elton John 'anthem' we sung at Vicarage Rd.

How did it originate, did it start after his second at Cardiff or a sort of reference to his escapades in the first 19 games? I’m hoping it’s not butchered from a chant at another club (especially ‘them’), just I haven’t the foggiest.

"Not exactly rev 'em up" I suspect the FA would frown a tad on Saturday Night's Alright For Fighting

It’s a pretty standard chant many teams use but I like it. Self-deprecating for a guy who has the makings of a cult hero. Also some hearty renditions of the simple yet genius ‘sit down if you shag your mum’. What a time to be alive. [Post edited 1 Dec 17:54]

QPR v Udinese B Match thread on 13:51 - Dec 1 by BrianMcCarthy | There's a lad I know. Watford fan. Twenties. Nice lad. But gives me loads about our "rivalry". I've told him very nicely that they're not even on our radar. I actually don't think he believes me. |
I think Luton are the same. The main rivalry is between Luton and Watford but fans of both those clubs seem to want to drag us into a three way rivalry with them while to us neither of them are London clubs we are indifferent too.

Would say Watford s Deeney goal was more dramatic than Zamoras. Simply because 30 seconds previous they should have been buried. They are a similar club to ourselves currently. Think that's fair to say.

I asked about this on page 6 of this very thread. It just doesn't make sense to me. It's also written across the Elton John stand... Is he supposed to have written it about Watford or something?! It would look more at home on a sports version of South Park - with Cartman and co swaying while some jocks get flattened. It's just mad!

Yes there was a bit of that on their fans' forum: I hate them; want to see them buried; load of 'travellers' etc Just a bit puzzling if you're a QPR fan...

LOL! Imagine being that much of a cocksucker. Not just a cocksucker but a Watford cocksucker. Remember when the shittest version of us under Ainsworth beat a shittier version of them 1-0? They were the shittest I've ever seen a team play in my whole life. Genuinely. And that includes my old work five-a-side team with me, the f*cking shittest of all shit players, and Geoff from IT (who wore glasses that were thick enough to be f*cking bullet proof) in it. Watford 6? F*cking six hooped cocks in your mouth. Choke on your mediocrity, c*nt.
