A touch of nostalgia. 20:01 - Nov 6 with 534 viewslifelong

Been helping someone close to move home, she has got the most unbelievable collection of Swans memorabilia I’ve seen for a long time.
Been looking through it today and selected just a few items that have brought back a few memories.
1. 1964 programee FA cup Semi final v Preston at Villa Park.

2. 1981 programme Preston away to gain promotion to Division one.

Got a few more will upload them later.

I would love to get my hands on that Villa Park programme .
The most disappointing day of my 14 yr old life and a day that still resonates .
The drive up in my old man’s A95 was pre motorway and we picked up a car load en route from Pontadawe .
Had an orange box to stand on
The most silent trip home ever.

I did have a programme of the Anfield 64 replay but it’s been lost on the midst of time .

My mother and Mike Johnson’s were church going chums for years .

Poll: Christmas. Enjoyable or not
