It’s a pursuit Steve that sees much charitable work.
It’s the essence of it all.
It was created to help those of a similar craft

I outgrew it btw

Yes it does engage in charitable activities. So do many other, less sinister, organisations.
It's existence amongst professional people, people in positions of power, like politicians, members of the judiciary, and police officers is counter to the public interest.
It should be proscribed.

I’m rather ambivalent.
They do no harm
Hitherto, that was not the case as upsetting senior masons wasn’t advisable .
I can tell you I’ve upset a few in my time
The degree ceremonies are ludicrous .

Swansea Indepenent Poster Of The Year 2021. Dr P / Mart66 / Roathie / Parlay / E20/ Duffle was 2nd, but he is deluded and thinks in his little twisted brain that he won. Poor sod. We let him win this year, as he has cried for a whole year. His 14 usernames, bless his cotton socks.

An old boss of mine admitted to being a freemason when I was working fr him. He was a good boss, a good bloke really and taught me a lot.

I heard a rumour he got off a few speeding fines but that's about all. He used to have an old Mk 2 Jag, like the one Morse drove.

It used to be of benefit in court when " under distress" by barrister
There are signs used that only craft membets know
Frankly the Church can be just as " beneficial" as born again Christian's act like a sect themselves
He'll, being a swans fan had its uses

You’d be very surprised that it’s not only people in those sort of professions who are FM.

I can admit that my dear departed Brother in law was one ,a nicer decent human being you could ever wish to meet. A professional man throughout his working life and I suppose as any person who "knows " someone would more likely give a helping hand , in what ever form that may have taken place.

The Shriners are 33rd degree masons , who , whilst doing lots “for charity” wear Fezes with Islam emblazoned on them.

It's the 21st century. A secret boys club is just as much an aethema to the modern era as ancient religions.

It is far better to grasp the universe as it really is than to persist in delusion, however satisfying and reassuring. - Carl Sagan

Those who decry the Craft and its member do so from a position of utter ignorance
It is no problem to demit(leave)on good terms , unlike leaving Jehovahs Witnesses, a really corrosive organisation
