Surely today at Twickenham we saw the very best evidence by a referee of how to screw one side, this occasion being Wales
Ok,Wales were as expected, rather inept, but it must be soul destroying to participate in a game whereby fairness is so absent .
On another note,Assirati needs to retire immediately as ,looking at him,he looks. possible heart attack in boots. Give it a rest ,son and lay off the ale, chips and burgers .

I hate to say this but ,come on Ireland .

Good Game Wales did well to comeback in that first half, SA were always gonna be stronger in that 2nd half, but that decision to not give a forward pass on their try right after H/T was bordering on favouritism towards SA, especially when those two clear red cards weren't given, that high boot when Fassi clearly stuck his foot out was a red all day and Mbonambi clearly driving in with his head both red cards for me.

SA proved to strong in the end, but there were positives with some talented young players coming though, Mason Grady looks a decent 12 for the future, Winnett amongst other's.

Ste.
What got me were two things.
1. The deliberate knock out of play behind the posts
2. The props quite open head into a welsh player. Nothing given.
Both welsh yellows very harsh
I am not so sanguine .
What did stand out was just how brilliant Liam Williams has been.
A real warrior but one with skill, pace and mental toughness.
He’s irreplaceable

If Costello is the best ten we have then we are truly goosed

I forking hate Saffas too. And they call the English arrogant ! They are off the scale

Anyway, holibibs tonorrow so mind my back on here when I’m away

I watched the game in The Vic in Mumbles wit a couple of mates and we couldn’t hear the comms but everyone was totally gobsmacked by some of those decisions. The two yellows were ridiculous, the head in head a red/yellow any day of the week and since when has a 45o pass not been classed as forward? We were commenting amongst ourselves as to how well his forthcoming holiday and accommodation as a guest of the SARFU was going to go!!

Talking of holidays, where are you orf to?

Now, that’s a good question. They weren’t there yesterday and I heard they’d ’done a runner’ whatever that means. They were good hosts too, it’s my local if anything so I go there when I dare to venture out these days. I know it ain’t a big international but it was very quiet there yesterday.

Keith and Tracy I think they were called.

Back on the subject of the Vic, I was told that the owned the Vic now, but didn't think that Jez had sold it on ?

Tommy elderly fella always got his dog with him told me one afternoon in the Pilot a while ago, might have been before Christmas, I think that was the last time I was there during the week, I was off with a knee injury.

The departure of the recent landlord (Keith?) was quite recent. I’ll speak to some people and if I find out I’ll let you know.

I’m taking my binoculars so I’ll happily do my shift in the crow’s nest.

The captain is female. Hope she can drive the thing ok and there’s no reversing into port😳😂
